Like any floor Bamboo floors can scratch. It can’t be sanded back and refinished like timber can. Although Bamboo floors are durable and hard wearing, be aware that some bamboo flooring is more hard-wearing than others. A Bamboo floor can come in a variety of colour stains so when selecting, it's good to remember that they may also fade over time. Finally the planks have a slight bevel in the edges which can be visible in well lit areas.
