If you have already done the hard work and have plans for a custom new home from your building designer or architect, then Renmark Homes can assist in providing you with a fixed price to build. Our process is simple, inclusive, and flexible. We see you as a partner in the build and therefore should be involved from the onset and through the construction stage.
Once you have made contact, we will run through a brief questionnaire to fully understand your objectives and to make sure we are a good fit for each other.
We will then followup with a phone call to further discuss your plans and organise an introductory meeting.
2. Client Meeting
At this meeting Renmark Homes will go over your plans and discuss any questions we may have. We will then get down to the fun part and discuss the fixtures and fittings that you want to put into your home. We often refer to this as the customer wish list.
Once we have all the information, the plans and relevant documentation is issued to our trades and suppliers for a fully tendered fixed price building proposal.
3. The Building Proposal
Upon completion of the tender we will arrange a second meeting to present and go through the proposal with you. If your budget is exceeded, then this meeting can also be used to discuss the big ticket items, tweak the inclusions and re-tender to our suppliers.
The tender will form the basis of our revised fix price for your new home. This process may be repeated a number of times working together to achieve the right outcome for the building of your ideal home.
4. Home Building Contract
Renmark Homes use fixed price contracts. Once a proposal is accepted, we produce draft contracts based on the final price and final inclusions requested. A final contract will be signed once approved by you as covering all items discussed at previous meetings.
5. Building Permits Phase
If not already done so, we are able to organise the building permits.
6. Home Construction
Construction will commence within 3 – 6 weeks of contract signing and receipt of the building permit.
Your home has reached final completion and ready to be handed over. This is the step that has you beaming with excitement and gratitude!
